Months before developing this creative concept, I knew I wanted my next big ad to have viral potential. Inspired by the popularity of "Accidentally Wes Anderson" at the time, I used that influence to create what became the most successful content Manchester Met had ever produced. Not only did we win the "Best Content" award at HEIST 2024 for this video, but it was also voted the most inspirational higher education content of 2024 by Future Index. Additionally, it became Manchester Met's most viewed piece of content, amassing over 250,000 views across social media in the first two weeks of the campaign.
DALTON: NEW BEGINNING
The latest project I had the opportunity to conceptualise and direct was the new advert for the Dalton Building. As the largest development Manchester Met has ever undertaken, the Dalton Building represents a major investment in STEM education and research, focusing on key strategic areas such as health and wellbeing, sustainable energy, advanced materials and manufacturing, and AI. Itβs an impressive building that needed just as impressive video!
